In this, the fourth installment of Peter Roby's blog, the Northeastern athletic director  discusses the current BCS system used to determine the football national champion. Roby also addresses the criteria Northeastern currently uses in its decision to retire the jersey of former Husky greats, including NBA champion Jose Juan Barea. And finally, he talks about the importance of fan support at games and how that support can influence the outcome of games, the student-athlete experience, and the recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
